Urban Testing Group LLC is a woman- and minority-owned public health and wellness company based in Jersey City, New Jersey. We specialize in mobile and onsite drug and alcohol testing, DNA/paternity services, CPR and Narcan training, trauma-informed professional development, and youth and community outreach. Our mission is to provide accessible, trauma-informed services that promote health, safety, and empowerment—especially for those most vulnerable and underserved.

Whether we’re training educators on how to respond to trauma in the classroom or providing rapid drug testing at a workplace, we approach every service with cultural competence and compassion.

Urban Testing Group is led by Erika Barnes, MSW, a Jersey City native and dedicated advocate with over a decade of experience working in mental health, education, and family services. Erika’s background includes work in prevention, reentry, substance abuse support, and school-based mentoring. She holds a Master’s in Social Work and multiple credentials in mental health first aid, CPR instruction, drug collection, and trauma-informed care. She is completing her 40-Hour Domestic Violence Advocacy certification in July 2025.
